About

Our Mission

Is to take the least desirable part of dog ownership out of your hands so you can spend more time doing the things you love with your fur babies, family, and friends! Having us scoop your dog's poop regularly will improve local water quality and give yourself more time to fish, surf, and play here in the Outer Banks.  Let us do the dirty work so you can do more of the things you love!

We provide weekly poop removal services for individual homeowners, commercial properties, apartment complexes, and provide dog poop scoop services for homeowner associations, parks, or other public spaces and rental properties.  Our personalized dog waste removal service will create a more clean, desirable place for dogs and humans alike up and down the beach!

Meet The Owner

I am the owner of Scoopin’ Poop OBX, Brice Harrington.  I have been a dog lover and owner of rescue pit bulls from Richmond Virginia for over 20 years.  After taking loads of crap as a public school teacher and having tried my hand at numerous side hustles that just haven’t hack it, I decided to use my entrepreneurial skills building a business that scoops poop in the OBX. I’ve always had the dream of working a job outside that will help to improve the water quality of our sound and ocean.  Even though it is seen as a crappy job, it is important to the longevity and cleanliness of our valuable coastline.

It is my mission to improve the quality of life in the Outer Banks by dutifully scooping poop so contaminants don’t end up in our water.  Let me put a smile on you and your dog's face while I take a dirty job off of your hands.
